HTH Scientific Mini Chlorine Floater SCIMRF6

Disinfection of water in small storage tanks. An effective bactericide and fungicide for disinfection of potable water in reservoirs and helps in eliminating slime growth in water systems, aiding in killing bacteria that could lead to waterborne diseases. A single HTH Scientific Mini Reservoir Floater is used in reservoirs ranging from 5,000 – 20,000 litres. Advantages

  • A stable product that has a two-year shelf life when stored correctly. The high active ingredient in a solid concentrate reduces storage and transportation costs.
  • Provides a slow release of active ingredient without leaving a residue.

Dosage Rates:

The chlorine level in the water will depend on the amount of water inside the tank and the rate at which it is drawn from the tank. E.g. if no water is drawn from the tank, a high chlorine level can be expected. If water is drawn from the tank at a high rate, the chlorine level might be too low as the tablets do not have time to dissolve adequately.
